Aphrodite sculpture issued by the Metropolitan Museum in New York and made by Alva Studios.
An exceptional copy of the basalt statue of Aphrodite dating from the late 1st to 2nd century A.D. in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is said to be adapted from the Greek statue of the 3rd century B.C., known as the Medici Aphrodite.
Made of black resin, mounted on a rectangular faux marble base. Ca. 1960s.
